nostr.build is media hosting built for the Nostr ecosystem - fast, private, and yours. We have been here since the early days, helping people upload, share, and keep their media without ads, trackers, or lock-in.
Short history
Built with Nostr, since December 2022.
nostr.build started on December 24th, 2022 as a free, community-focused uploader for images, GIFs, and video on the Nostr social network. The original site was later rebuilt from the ground up by @rob and @nahuelg5 into what you use today.
Our purpose has not changed: to help the Nostr ecosystem grow by giving everyone a free, web-, API-, and app-integrated way to share the media they love. We believe in a transparent, community approach to media moderation.

Accounts add premium features on an annual plan, payable in Bitcoin (Lightning or on-chain), by card, or in other popular currencies.
Proceeds run through the pay.nostr.build Lightning node and cover everything it takes to keep nostr.build running - storage, CDN, AWS, development, domains, and more. Buying an account gives you premium features and supports a free, no-ads service for all of Nostr.
